How it works
From enquiry to a clear, balanced report
- 1
Submit an enquiry
Use the short enquiry form to describe the dispute, the other party, key dates and what you would like clarified. Do not send any documents at this stage.
- 2
Project Clarity checks whether the case is suitable
Each enquiry is reviewed by a person. We may ask for clarification, or explain that the matter is outside the service. Acceptance is never automatic.
- 3
If accepted, receive temporary portal access
You receive a case reference and a secure link to set your own password. Passwords are never sent to you.
- 4
Upload or describe evidence
Upload PDFs or photos of documents, or describe information in writing. You can save and come back later. When you're ready, submit your evidence.
- 5
Receive a factual report within up to seven working days
Counted from acceptance and receipt of the agreed initial information, Monday to Friday excluding England and Wales bank holidays.
- 6
Review, request corrections and download within 14 calendar days
Read the report in the portal, download it, message us and request correction of factual mistakes. Downloading early does not shorten your access.
- 7
Eligible case data is automatically deleted
At the end of the access period, evidence, messages and reports are deleted unless a lawful exception applies, such as a pending correction or complaint.
