Draft for the pilot — to be reviewed by the business owner before real cases are accepted.

Who we are

Project Clarity is a trading name used by an individual operating as a sole trader in the UK. That individual is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Contact us using the contact form.

ICO registration

The data controller is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC026449. The current registration is due to expire on 26 October 2027. You can check the entry on the ICO’s public register of fee payers at ico.org.uk.

Registration with the ICO is a legal requirement for many organisations that process personal information. It is not a certification, approval or endorsement of Project Clarity or its services.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details: name, contact email, dispute category and a short description.
  • If accepted: portal account details, evidence you upload or describe, secure messages and correction requests.
  • Minimal technical information needed to keep accounts secure (sign-in records and audit logs).

Why, and our lawful bases

  • Assessing and providing the review you request — steps prior to and performance of a contract.
  • Keeping minimal records for accounting, complaints and legal claims — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
  • Where special category information appears in evidence, we process it only as necessary for the service you ask for, on the basis of your explicit consent given when you submit it.

How long we keep it

Your report is available for 14 calendar days after publication (restarting if a corrected report is issued). At the end of that period, eligible evidence, descriptions, messages, drafts and reports are automatically deleted, unless a lawful exception applies such as an unresolved correction request, complaint or legal hold. We keep only a minimal record (case reference, service category, key dates and audit entries) for as long as needed for compliance. Backups are retained on a rolling schedule set by our hosting provider and expire automatically; deletion from backups is not instantaneous.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. Case material is accessible only to the administrator and any analyst assigned to your case under a confidentiality agreement. Our hosting and storage providers act as processors. Customer evidence is never used to train AI models and is not sent to external AI services.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to or restrict its use. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Email

Email is used only for account activation and password recovery. Case details, evidence and reports are never sent by email.
